摘要
沈石溪被誉为“中国动物小说大王”，他的作品数量众多且影响广泛。在读者群和文学界对其作品大加赞誉时，学界对他的作品评论却产生了分歧，其中争论的焦点在作品所塑造的动物形象上。本文即从沈石溪小说中的动物形象入手，来解决沈石溪动物形象的真实性问题，同时探讨动物形象所蕴含的精神内核和生态学命题。
第一章：沈石溪小说动物形象“真实性”的争论。通过对动物小说概念的界定，来分析探讨关于沈石溪动物形象“真实性”的争论，并明确指出“真实性”不是动物小说的绝对标准，非写实性正是沈石溪在动物形象塑造上的一种开拓，沈石溪开创了“类人动物小说”的创作范式。
