¡¡¡¡Abstract£º¡¡Objective To develop a portable device for temperature-controlled shoulder physiotherapy which has no disadvantages of the existing ones. Methods The device was composed of main components and accessory drug-bearing dressing, and the main components included a controller, a lithium battery, a power adapter and an electric heating plate. A controlled heating system was the key unit, which consisted of the parts of power supply, microcontroller unit, press keys, heating controller, temperature detection, display and reminding and etc. Results The device had the functions of temperature monitoring, alarm and protection, functional exercise as well as herbal fumigation through the drug-bearing dressing, which facilitated the restoration of shoulder joint function, the increase of efficiency and the decrease of treatment time. Conclusion The device gains advantages in low weight, high portability, easy operation, high safety and comfort, and thus is worthy promoting clinically.
